Waypoint is a free web directory that logs active websites across 22 categories. It is maintained as a navigable index of the working web, organised by topic so browsers can locate sites in a specific area without having to search the open internet.

Sites are filed under one of 22 categories, ranging from Healthcare & Remedies and Technology & Equipment through to Routes & Destinations, Law & Legal Services, and the broad Assorted & General section. Each site is recorded once, under its closest matching category.

Use the Add a Site form: enter your domain, select the relevant category from the list, and submit. The form takes under a minute to complete. Once reviewed and approved, your site is logged in the directory under the chosen section.

Yes — submitted sites are checked before being added to the directory. Sites that do not resolve to an active page, or that clearly do not match the selected category, may not be approved. Approved entries are listed in the relevant section once the review is complete.

The directory records your domain at the time of submission. If your site moves to a new domain or changes focus significantly, the cleanest approach is to submit the updated domain as a new entry under the appropriate category.
